1. Introduction

Welcome to the Algarve BJJ Camp website (www.algarvebjjcamp.com). These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Site and the booking of the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu camp (Algarve BJJ Camp) taking place from October 9th to October 12th, 2025, in Portugal. By using this Site to book your ticket, you agree to comply with these Terms.

2. Definitions

• "You" or "Your" refers to the individual or organization making the booking for the Camp.

• "We," "Us," or "Our" refers to Algarve BJJ Camp, the entity responsible for organizing the Camp.

• "Booking" refers to the act of purchasing a ticket for the Camp via the Site.

• "Camp" refers to the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu camp taking place from October 9th to October 12th, 2025.

3. Booking and Payment

To secure a place at the Algarve BJJ Camp, you must book a ticket through the Site. All bookings are subject to availability. You will need to provide certain personal details and payment information as part of the booking process.

• Booking Process: When you make a booking through the Site, you will receive a confirmation email from us. Your booking will be considered confirmed upon payment.

• Payment: Payment for the Camp must be made in full at the time of booking unless an alternative payment arrangement has been agreed upon. We accept PayPal.

• Booking Confirmation: Upon successful payment, you will receive an email confirmation with your booking details. This email will serve as proof of your registration for the Camp.

4. Camp Details

• Camp Dates: The Algarve BJJ Camp will take place from October 9th to October 12th, 2025, at Vilamoura in Portugal.

• Camp Venue: The Camp will be held at Algarve Fight Academy, a gym specializing in Combat Sports, Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Full details, including the address and directions, will be provided in your booking confirmation email.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that plans may change. Please read the following cancellation and refund policy carefully.

• Refund Policy: You are entitled to a full refund, less an administration fee of £50, if you cancel your booking up to 90 days before the start date of the Camp (i.e., by July 9th, 2025). After this date, no refunds will be issued.

• Cancellation Process: To cancel your booking, please email us at hello@algarvebjjcamp.com with your booking details. A refund will be processed to the original payment method.

• No Refunds for Late Cancellations: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the 90-day period leading up to the Camp (i.e., after July 9th, 2025).

• Transfer of Tickets: You may transfer your booking to another person if you are unable to attend the Camp. Please contact us for more details.

6. Changes to the Camp

While we do everything possible to ensure the Camp goes ahead as planned, we reserve the right to make changes to the Camp schedule, instructors, or location if required. In the unlikely event that the Camp is cancelled entirely, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid for your booking.

7. Health and Safety

You are required to confirm that you are physically fit to participate in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu activities. It is your responsibility to disclose any relevant medical conditions or injuries that may affect your ability to participate in the Camp.

• Waiver: By attending the Camp, you agree to sign a waiver that acknowledges the inherent risks associated with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and releases Algarve BJJ Camp from liability for any injury or accident sustained during the Camp.

8. Travel Insurance and Responsibility

• Travel Insurance: It is mandatory for all participants to obtain adequate travel insurance that covers any potential risks associated with attending the Camp, including, but not limited to, medical emergencies, injuries, cancellations, and travel-related issues. You are responsible for purchasing your own travel insurance and ensuring it covers all activities related to the Camp.

• Travel Arrangements: You are solely responsible for making your own travel arrangements, including flights, transport, and accommodation. Algarve BJJ Camp will not be responsible for any delays, cancellations, or issues with airlines, flights, or other travel-related services. It is your responsibility to ensure that you arrive at the Camp venue on time.

• Flight Delays and Cancellations: Algarve BJJ Camp will not be liable for any costs or losses incurred due to flight delays, cancellations, or other travel disruptions. We recommend that you allow ample time for travel and make contingency plans in case of travel delays.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously. All personal information collected during the booking process will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy [link to Privacy Policy]. We will never share your information with third parties without your consent, except where necessary for fulfilling the booking or as required by law.

10. Liability

• Personal Injury: We are not liable for any injuries or accidents that occur during the Camp, except where such injury is caused by our negligence.

• Property Loss or Damage: Algarve BJJ Camp is not responsible for any loss or damage to your personal property during the Camp. We advise you to take appropriate measures to protect your belongings.

• Force Majeure: We will not be held liable for any failure or delay in providing the Camp due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.

11. Code of Conduct

By attending the Algarve BJJ Camp, you agree to behave in a respectful and responsible manner. This includes following the gym's rules, being considerate to other participants, and refraining from any behaviour that may disrupt the Camp or put others at risk. We reserve the right to remove any participant from the Camp if they violate the code of conduct, with no refund provided.

12. Website Usage

You agree not to use this Site for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to, engaging in activities that may damage, disrupt, or impair the functioning of the Site.

• Intellectual Property: All content on the Site, including logos, text, images, and trademarks, are the property of Algarve BJJ Camp or its licensors and are protected by copyright laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written permission.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
